Køge Nord station is a transfer station between the Copenhagen - Køge railway line and the Copenhagen - Ringsted railway line. The station, together with the railway line Copenhagen - Ringsted, was opened on 31 May 2019 by Crown Prince Frederik. The next day the station was included in the timetable. The station is located on both sides of the motorway just north of the junction towards Falster and Jutland respectively. The platforms are connected to each other by a footbridge over the tracks and the motorway.
