A high-end anodising treatment for matte architectural façade applications for high-end public and private buildings with the tightest guaranteed tolerances for gloss and colour levels ensuring near-perfect uniformity over large surface areas. This Aloxide product has been the reference for architectural and general purpose anodised architectural sheet for over 45 years. A treatment for matte architectural façade and interior applications with excellent control of gloss and colour levels within a coil and from coil-coil. This is the product which is also widely sold by distributors in Europe. Available in natural and the full range of UV resistant colours and organic colours. X-Wall has a multitude of fine architectural references around the world. On site studies have shown that there is no diminution in the anodic film over the very long term – even in aggressive environments.

X-Bond offers a highly decorative, non-combustible and corrosion-resistant finish suitable for all laminating applications. Thanks to an enhanced anodic layer, the back-side withstands the hot gluing process employed in the manufacture of aluminium composite panels (ACP). This is combined with a special sealing process on the exposed surface, which permits it to offer excellent resistance from fading, corrosion or failure even it is generally employed on thin-gauge aluminium. Available in a Standard Mill Finish, Brush Finish and Brite Finish.

The flexible anodic film developed in the continuous coil anodising process means that surface is ideally for roll-forming after anodising without losing any of the benefits of aspect or surface uniformity or protection. It can be used to create corrugated or profiled sheets. By creating a three-dimensional metallic surface, the play on light can be used to dramatic effect on large surfaces without complex fabrication or fixing.

Anodised aluminium is most often associated with architectural applications, but anodising on thinner metal permits a wide range of industrial and decorative applications where the aspect of the surface is very critical because it can be viewed at very close distances. X-Deco can also be laminated on to other materials, such as wood. It is employed on high end metallic luggage, kitchens and furniture.

The anodised layer may be used to provide extra functionality unconnected with corrosion resistance. The surface may be used as a surface preparation for coating. It can be used to improve the lase welding process of spascer bars for double glazing. It can be used to provide a purely cosmetic aspect to aluminium welded tubes

Tread plate is widely available in a number of different patterns and is visually enhanced and protected by anodising. Anodising permits the relief of the design to be anodised in perfect consistent film layer and thickness.

With its new vertical anodising line, Coil is able now to offer Aloxide anodising for all types of pre-fabricated sections and panels, extrusions as well as more complex structures, such as architectural mesh.

With hospitals facing the constant challenge of reducing infection, the slippery smooth surface of Aloxide impedes germs from being deposited on the surface of the metal and makes it easy to clean. For this reason, Aloxide is used in a wide range of interior applications in patient rooms, public areas and technical rooms. It is also used on food trolleys where the material has a low weight.
